Dat further drills the pilot holes along the twisted shank to perfectly fit the accent diamonds.
Each setting, included the small beads, are prepped before the diamonds are placed.
Dat then gently places each stone into its respective seat. The beads of metal are then pushed over the stones to secure them in place for a lifetime of wear.
For the center stone, the seat is carefully notched on the inside of the prongs to create a secure and snug fit of the center diamond. The seat prevents the stone from moving or shifting within the setting. Dat then lowers the diamond into the seat using a wax dop. Pliers are then used to squeeze the tips of the prongs over the stone.
