To ensure the stones are firmly in place, Mac employs pliers with finesse, delicately squeezing the tips of the prongs over the top of each stone. The entire ring then undergoes a comprehensive cleaning, polishing, and steaming regimen.
To delicately secure the stones within the prongs, Mac gently lowers each one into its setting using a wax dop. The stones snugly nestle into the seats, guaranteeing a secure and level position, ensuring both stability and visual perfection.
After the casting has been cleaned, Mac begins the setting process. Each setting has a cast-in-place prongs that Mac carefully polishes. He also cuts a seat on the inside of each prong that the stones will nestle into.
