For Colin, crafting jewelry is a family legacy. Having started to learn his craft from early adolescence, he’s been working as a jeweler for the past twenty years, and been teaching an array of metal work classes at Bellevue College since 1997.
Colin finds that fusing the functionality and beauty of the rare materials that go into his work enormously rewarding. With so many hours at the bench, and throughout various institutions, he’s also aware of the high technical level of his fellow jewelers here at Green Lake – and enjoys sharing his expertise with others on their path toward masterful craftsmanship.
