You may notice that we often show our custom portfolio designs first. We make true custom design our first choice, and it shows. Today Green Lake Jewelry Works is one of the largest custom jewelry shops in America.

Creating fine custom jewelry is not an afterthought at Green Lake Jewelry Works, it is our passion and primary mission. There are a few ways to design your own piece of fine jewelry with us.

The simplest way is to choose one of our In Stock Signature Original Designs and add your own finishing touches. From accent gems like rows of tiny diamonds, to added hand engraving, we can customize any of our stock pieces to fit your style.

Another option is to start with our Easy Order Signature Originals. These are made to order, so feel free to customize! From small adjustments like adding a euro-shank or a halo setting to a design you like, to compete design overhauls; the options are unlimited.

Naturally, many custom designs start from scratch, beginning with a conversation and some favorites and ending with an entirely new custom original.

What Are Easy Order Signature Originals?

These are original Green Lake designs that we make to order and deliver to you in 1-3 weeks. We think of these as "custom light". Easy Order Signature Originals have simpler options (metal, gemstone, finger size) and are less expensive to produce than full custom items so we pass those savings on to you.
You don't get as many choices to make (no sketches or wax model viewings like a full custom design), but Easy Order Signature Original items are faster and made to the same standards as any of our finest custom designs.

In Stock Originals

These are Green Lake original finished or semi-finished pieces that our master artists make. These give the designers and artist’s creative freedom, practice on new skills, and allow us to try out new ideas. Almost every piece is unique, as we rarely make the exact piece twice. Our in stock original designs come with an unconditional 30 day money back guarantee, no risk at home try-on and great prices!
Center stones are included only if noted, and many are shown with cubic zirconia so you can choose your own gemstone.

What Are In Stock Semi-Finished Originals?

These are in stock partially finished original Green Lake designs that are ready to be personalized with your favorite finishing touches. Add a center stone for a minimalist look, some side stones for a classic feel or hand engraving for an antique style and quickly create your own original design.
